There are a lot of Realtors out there but the level of service you’ll receive can fall anywhere on a very broad spectrum. I genuinely treat every transaction as if it were my own. Buying or selling a piece of real estate is a big deal no matter what the sales price. I don’t take the responsibility lightly and I’ve catered my services to really support each client's individual needs.
Listing
A person’s home is usually one of their biggest assets. My goal is whatever your goal is. If you want to get a house sold as quickly as possible and get as much money as you can, then I will advise you on how to price the home. If you want/need to make a certain amount of money to be able to avoid a short sale or pay off liens then we will price it as such. I advise my listing clients to present their homes as I would do if it were my own. I work with a lot of buyers and I know what people are looking for and critiquing when viewing a home. My clients are always encouraged to do whatever they’re comfortable with and willing to take on, I’m never going to require you to do something. That being said, I will insist beds are made and the house has been power washed if necessary before going on the market
Buying
I get so much joy out of helping buyers. Whether you are an experienced homeowner or this is your first, you’re going to receive the same level of communication and service from me. My mortgage experience helps me tremendously when coaching buyers through the home buying process. Some buyers fall in love with the first home they see, some take years, some get their first offer accepted, and some submit multiple. The home buying process can be an emotional roller coaster and you need someone that is going to be understanding and patient. You also need someone that is going to HUSTLE for you. In our current market, “You snooze you lose” couldn’t be a more accurate expression. I will always make myself available to my clients and if there’s nothing on the market that meets your criteria you can bet I’ll do everything possible to try to find something off market.
Investment Properties
I firmly believe that there are few better investments than real estate. That being said, I wouldn’t encourage a client of mine to purchase a property that I don’t think is a good investment. Whether that be for a primary residence, a 2nd home, a rental, or a property to flip, the numbers have to make sense. Being a landlord myself, I have first-hand experience with calculating return on investment. There are properties that are flipped right, and properties that have been flipped very wrong just from a few bad decisions. Staging
I can’t stress enough how much design has an impact on your emotions. Whether you are buying or selling a home, the way the home is designed plays a huge role. I pride myself in being able to help buyers recognize that and help sellers identify what they can do to help improve how their homes make potential buyers feel. Because I feel so strongly about how good staging can help lead to a successful sale, I’ve accumulated several of my own staging pieces and are always looking for more. Assisting with the staging of a home is a complementary service that I offer to all of my clients that are interested.
Adoption Credit
I find that a lot of buyers, particularly first time homebuyers, want to have a dog but decide to wait to buy a home before getting one. I created my adoption program to entice any clients of mine to adopt rather than buy from a puppy store or breeder. According to the ASPCA approximately 390,000 dogs are euthanized each year. If I can do anything to help lessen that number I will! Rather than give a bottle of wine or a cutting board at closing, I will issue a credit towards any adoption fee if you let me know you’re interested prior to closing. I’m also happy to help you find that perfect pup.
Renting
Not everyone is ready to buy a home and that is OK! Whether you’re working on building your credit, saving for a down payment, or if you’re just unsure of where the future may lead and aren’t ready to be tied down, I can help you find a rental.
